The Bob & Tom Show has announced the hiring of Dave Crooks as affiliate relations director. Representatives of the show say, “We now finally have a good reason to say we have Crooks on the payroll.”
Crooks will be the main contact between the show and its nationwide network of affiliate radio stations.
“We are delighted to welcome Dave to The Bob & Tom Show family,” said co-founder and co-host Tom Griswold. “With Jessica Hooker already on the staff, hiring Crooks completes the personnel team of Hooker and Crooks—sounding less like a radio show and more like a police report.”
Crooks brings plenty of experience in radio station ownership, affiliate support, and media partnerships. In his new role, he will work closely with stations across the country to share successful ideas and help affiliates turn the audience into a source for increased local revenue. He will also recruit new affiliates alongside Westwood One, the largest audio network in America, which exclusively distributes the program.
The Bob & Tom Show is a nationally syndicated radio program inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame. Known for its mix of conversation, comedy, information, and live music, the show has won multiple Marconi Awards and continues to grow its audience on both traditional and digital platforms. The show airs live weekday mornings from 6am to 10am ET and plays across America in all time zones. The show’s digital footprint continues to grow on YouTube, TuneIn, and The Bob & Tom Show Podcast, and the team has released more than 60 comedy albums, CDs, and DVDs.
