Black radio listeners spend an average of 11 hours and 17 minutes per week with AM/FM, exceeding the national average by 22 minutes. Katz highlights that Black consumers, whose buying power has surged 71% since 2010, are twice as likely to try brands advertised on local radio. Trust and cultural inclusivity in advertising matter, with 60% associating ads with quality and 26% valuing culturally relevant messaging.
