Gracie Awards dates announced for 2026.

The Alliance for Women in Media Foundation has announced the dates and locations for the 51st Annual Gracie Awards, set to honor outstanding achievements by women in media across national, local, and student categories.

The 2026 Gracies Gala, celebrating national honorees, will be held May 19 at the Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills. The Gracies Luncheon, focused on recognizing local and student winners, will follow on June 16 at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City.

The Call for Entries will open in October 2025, with additional details on submission guidelines and eligibility to be released in the coming months. Submissions typically span radio, television, digital media, and advertising, highlighting exceptional storytelling, leadership, and representation by women across the industry.

AWMF President Becky Brooks said the organization is building on the momentum of its 50th anniversary milestone. “Following a landmark 50th anniversary season, we remain inspired by the power of women’s voices in shaping our media landscape. The 51st Gracie Awards will honor the enduring influence of those who paved the way and spotlight the voices who continue to challenge, innovate, and lead. As we look to the future, we are committed to elevating the diverse and brilliant stories women bring to audiences every day.”

The Gracie Awards, named after entertainment pioneer Gracie Allen, have honored industry leaders and rising stars for over five decades. Past recipients include trailblazers in journalism, entertainment, production, and public affairs. The event series also serves as a platform to raise awareness for the Foundation’s broader mission to support women in media through scholarships, mentorship, and advocacy.

The Foundation encourages early interest from media organizations and individuals planning to submit for 2026 recognition. Updated submission materials, judging panel announcements, and partnership opportunities will be shared later this year.
