Farm broadcasting group awards $33,000 in internship grants for 2025.

The National Association of Farm Broadcasting Foundation awarded $33,000 in internship grants to 11 stations and networks, aiming to give students hands-on experience in agricultural broadcasting. “The NAFB Foundation is proud to invest $33,000… to help cultivate the next generation of farm broadcasters,” said Foundation President Meghan Grebner, crediting corporate donations and auction proceeds. Recipients include Brownfield Ag News, Iowa Agribusiness Radio Network, and WYXY Classic 99.1 FM. Interns will be honored at the NAFB Convention in November. Since 1977, the program has provided $329,500 to support future farm communicators.
