The 2025 NAB Crystal Radio Awards will move from Las Vegas to Washington, DC, and will be presented at the NAB State Leadership Conference on March 4. This change shortens the awards season by a month, with entries accepted from January 1-24 and finalists announced in February. The awards recognize NAB member stations for exceptional community service efforts during 2024. A panel of broadcast and community service experts will select 50 finalists and 10 winners. Submissions are to be made via NAB’s My NAB platform, detailing community initiatives. The 37th annual awards in 2024 honored stations like KFI-AM (Los Angeles), KKBQ (Houston), and KMVP (Phoenix). Hubbard Broadcasting’s KSTP (Minneapolis) received the prestigious Crystal Heritage Award, joining 12 other elite stations. The event also highlighted Engineering Achievement Awards.
