The Texas Association of Broadcasters has announced the specific panel line-up and operational training sessions scheduled for its upcoming annual convention, the TAB Show 2026.
The two-day event, branded as the Round Rock Roundup, will take place at the Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Round Rock, Texas, on August 5 and 6, 2026.
According to the advisory, the engineering track, curated for station technology leaders and Chief Engineers, will focus heavily on practical application, including deep-dive sessions on configuring and maintaining Emergency Alert System hardware in a secure, IP-driven environment.
On the management side, general managers and directors of sales will have access to data-driven forecasting workshops led by economic analysts focusing on local retail trends in the state, specifically exploring digital-audio-plus-spot-radio integrated sales strategies for automotive dealers.
Legal compliance is also a primary topic, with planned sessions covering current FCC broadcast enforcement policies,spectrum licensing considerations, and local political ad spend regulations ahead of upcoming regional elections.
The Texas Association of Broadcasters emphasized that the programming is specifically chosen to provide “improving station revenue, technical reliability, and operational efficiencies for Texas broadcasters of all market sizes.” The association also announced that registration is officially open to both member and non-member broadcasters via its dedicated convention website.
