Yesterday we published a story titled “Tennessee bill targets emergency radio access.” I got a call from a number of Tennessee broadcasters, and from Chris Baker, the head of the Tennessee Broadcasters Association, inquiring about the story; nobody had heard about it.
We checked further and found that the source for the story was unreliable. There is no such legislation pending.
