Radio Workflow launches “Jingle Buddy.”

The company has announced the launch of a new AI-powered platform built specifically for broadcasters to create advertiser jingles, station imaging, original songs and music beds.

Co-founders Fletcher Ford and Shane Zammit believe radio should not have to adapt to AI products built for everyone else. AI should be built specifically for radio.

“There are incredible AI products being developed right now, but most were not created by people who deeply understand what happens inside a radio station every day,” Ford said. “We understand radio, we understand AI, and we have spent years putting the two together.”

The company started integrating AI into its platform long before the current tech wave, focusing on real daily work across sales, creative, production and operations. Zammit noted they have moved past asking what AI might do for radio because they have years of experience developing and deploying it.

Jingle Buddy builds on the spec ad creation power of Broadcast Buddy. Sellers can approach prospects with a finished commercial and a custom jingle made just for that business.

“Instead of telling a business owner what you could create, you hit play,” Ford said. “They do not have to imagine what radio could sound like for their business. They can hear it.”

Jingle Buddy is not a repackaged AI music generator. For advertiser jingles, you provide the business name, offer, phone number and call to action. Jingle Buddy builds the creative and verifies the required elements before producing the audio. For stations, it supports 21 jingle and imaging archetypes, like station anthems, sweepers and morning show imaging.

The platform works with creative professionals. You can supply your own lyrics and save style information. Qualifying plans include individual stems for more production control and API access to connect with larger broadcast systems.

Zammit explained that AI itself is not the product, but rather what it helps broadcasters accomplish.

“If we are going to build something for radio, it needs to genuinely make radio better,” Zammit said.

Ford added that while there will be thousands of AI products, they only need to build the right ones for radio.

Jingle Buddy is available now at jinglebuddy.radioworkflow.com.
