RAB highlights radio’s role in financial services.

The Radio Advertising Bureau will host its next “Radio Works” presentation with a focus on the financial sector. The session, titled “Radio Works for Financial Services,” is designed to equip sellers and managers with strategies to attract, serve, and retain advertisers from banks, credit unions, brokerages, and other financial institutions.

Phillip Beswick, CEO of The Media Audit, will lead the live discussion, drawing on exclusive data to illustrate radio’s value in the financial marketplace. He will show how radio captures the attention of decision-makers at critical moments — whether commuting, managing finances, or planning investments — when they are most receptive to messages about financial products and services.

Beswick is expected to highlight radio’s strong share of consumer media time across key financial categories and explain why broadcast continues to rank among the most trusted and cost-effective advertising platforms. The presentation will demonstrate how local radio can function as a “secret weapon” for financial advertisers seeking targeted, credible, and affordable ways to reach audiences.

The live event is scheduled for Wednesday, September 17, at noon CT.
