Rosenworcel defended free speech, stating, “The FCC shouldn’t be the president’s speech police,” while advocating for transparency in political ads using artificial intelligence. During her tenure, she proposed requiring broadcasters to disclose AI use in political ads, a measure supported by Democrats but opposed by Republicans. Rosenworcel will step down on January 20 as Trump takes office.
