Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio, Inc. announced an extension of the application deadline for the 3rd Annual “Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Country Radio” Mentorship Program, presented in partnership with Country Radio Broadcasters, the organization behind the Country Radio Seminar (CRS).
Due to strong interest and continued demand, applications will now be accepted through April 30, 2026, giving qualified candidates additional time to apply for the competitive opportunity. Applicants can submit materials here.
Now in its third year, the program reflects continued collaboration between MIW and CRB. The organizations have also renewed their commitment through a new multi-year agreement, reinforcing a shared focus on supporting and elevating women working in the country radio format through structured mentorship and expanded industry access.
The year-long initiative connects one selected mentee with established leaders across the country radio landscape, offering personalized mentorship, strategic introductions and professional development opportunities aimed at strengthening leadership pathways within the format.
As part of the program, the selected mentee will attend the 2027 Country Radio Seminar in Nashville, a key annual event for country radio professionals.
The mentorship is open to one woman employed full-time at a U.S. country radio station with at least five years of industry experience. Applications remain open through April 30, 2026.
