The Alliance for Women in Media Foundation celebrated the 50th Annual Gracie Awards Gala on Tuesday night in Beverly Hills, marking a milestone moment in recognizing the achievements of women across radio, television, and digital platforms. Held at the historic Beverly Wilshire Hotel, the gala honored 160 recipients—more than any previous year—highlighting the expanding influence of women in media.
Comedian and actress Fortune Feimster hosted the event, delivering a mix of humor and heartfelt commentary. The night was filled with emotional tributes, inspirational stories, and reflections on the evolving role of women in the industry. Grammy Award-winning artist Cam closed out the evening with a celebratory performance.
An impressive lineup of presenters lent star power to the evening, including Jimmy Kimmel, Jenna Dewan, Christina Hendricks, Monica Lewinsky, and Kyle Richards. Among the prominent honorees in attendance were Norah O’Donnell, Lisa Ling, Angela Yee, and Ed Begley Jr. Actors Dara Reneé and Morgan Dudley served as this year’s Digital Impact Ambassadors, highlighting the next wave of creative talent.
In addition to recognizing established figures, the gala focused on the future of the industry by celebrating emerging voices. Past scholarship recipients Fatima Moein, Pavlina Osta, and Lesli Foster shared personal stories about how support from the Gracie Awards advanced their education and careers. These testimonials underscored the impact of the foundation’s mission to empower women at every stage of their professional journeys.
AWMF President Becky Brooks emphasized the significance of the event as the foundation’s largest annual fundraiser. Proceeds from the gala support essential programs including scholarships, leadership training, and educational initiatives designed to open doors for women in media. Brooks highlighted the importance of continuing to invest in talent development and gender equity across all platforms.
The 2025 Gracie Awards were produced by women-led creative teams from Do Great Projects and Mythical Creatures, with Kristin Whalley serving as executive producer. Their leadership reflected the evening’s broader celebration of female empowerment and behind-the-scenes influence.
