The Country Radio Seminar will add three pre-show seminars focused on the next era of radio operations, produced in partnership with the Radio Vendor Alliance. The half-day sequence covers music programming and AI, digital strategy, and revenue growth, providing actionable takeaways for small and mid-size operators as well as larger groups.
The day opens with That Right Sound, a deep dive into music curation, AI-assisted scheduling, production craft, and emerging trends in discovery and access. Presenters will examine playlist architecture, metadata hygiene, imaging discipline, and practical guardrails for responsible AI deployment in programming and production.
On Being Digital – Driving Listener Interactions and New Revenue follows, centering on engagement across mobile apps, websites, and streaming platforms. Topics include app stickiness, authenticated loyalty, first-party data capture, audio and display ad ops, measurement frameworks, and packaging tactics that link on-air promotion to digital conversion.
The sequence concludes with It’s All About the Money, a session on boosting financial efficiency through partnerships, trade strategy, and streamlined station management. Speakers will detail inventory optimization, client category playbooks, bundled pricing, proof-of-performance reporting, and integrations that reduce back-office friction.
Founded in 2024, the Radio Vendor Alliance is a coalition of broadcast technology and service providers organized to help small and mid-size owners streamline vendor selection, align roadmaps, and strengthen strategic planning. The alliance will contribute case studies and toolkits alongside the sessions.
Set for the afternoon of Tuesday, March 17, The Radio Station of the Future pre-show is included with all full CRS 2026 registrations. A limited number of one-day passes will be available for purchase for attendees who plan to participate in the pre-show only.
