Broadcasters face filing deadlines in early February.

Radio stations in several states must ensure their regulatory paperwork is in order this week. Licensees in Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, and Oklahoma were required to place their Annual EEO Public Inspection File Reports in their public files by the beginning of the month. Additionally, stations in these regions, along with those in other specific groups, may have other compliance deadlines related to the new year’s regulatory calendar. Legal experts advise stations to verify that all documentation is uploaded to the FCC hosted online public file to avoid potential fines or renewal delays.
