AWMF opens 2026 Gracies submissions with new categories.

The Alliance for Women in Media Foundation has opened entries for the 51st Annual Gracie Awards, honoring work that elevates women’s voices and representation across radio, television, streaming, and digital platforms. Submissions are welcomed from individuals, networks, and organizations.

New for 2026, the program adds several audio and video podcast honors: Audio Podcast Host in lifestyle, educational, and sports; Video Podcast; and Video Podcast Host or Co-Host. Updated areas include Substack, e-newsletter, and blog, as well as the unscripted or reality television national category.

The show will again be co-chaired by Weiss Agency president Heather Cohen, McVay Media Consulting president Mike McVay, and Hallmark Media chief communications officer Annie Howell.

National winners will be celebrated at the Gracies Gala on May 19 at the Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills. Local and student honorees will be recognized at the Gracies Luncheon on June 16 at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York.

Eligible entries must have aired between January 1 and December 31, 2025. The early-bird deadline is December 11, 2025, and the final deadline is January 22, 2026. Full rules, categories, and entry details are available on the AWMF site.

AWMF president Becky Brooks notes that the Gracies continue to spotlight exceptional storytelling while supporting scholarships and programs that develop the next generation of women in media, and she encourages participation through submissions, sponsorships, and promotion.
