Recently I heard about a defining-moment incident at a local radio station: the owner was on an extended work/play trip, and about a week into the trip, he got word that his program director/morning guy was arrested during a routine traffic stop for possession of a substantial amount of drugs. The owner’s designated leadership team took immediate action by suspending the PD pending the clarification of his legal situation. (It’s a good thing to remember that “innocent until proved guilty” applies to a court of law, not the court of public opinion.)
