Syndicated radio show Bob & Sheri honored eight exceptional teachers with a trip to Margaritaville Resort in Ft. Myers Beach, FL, as part of a celebration initiated in September 2023. Listeners nominated teachers by sharing their stories on the Bob & Sheri website, resulting in thousands of submissions. A panel of judges selected the winners, who, along with a guest, enjoyed a weekend of festivities hosted by Sheri Lynch, Lamar Richardson, and producer Kary “Doc” Bowser. The teachers also recorded a special episode of The Oddcast podcast, sharing memorable teaching experiences. Lynch praised teachers’ passion, creativity, and dedication.
