The industry will lose a strong voice on August 15 when All Access—one of the only, if not the only, radio trade focusing on music and programming—shuts down due to financial difficulties. The company’s founder and publisher, Joel Denver, said that the decision was not made lightly, but the recent downturn in the music industry and the overall financial climate have made it impossible to keep the company afloat. Denver said that he is “heartbroken” by the decision to close All Access, but that he is grateful for the support of the company’s staff and readers over the past 28 years.
