Sinclair and Tribune went through a nasty breakup after their rosy announcement of a takeover of the latter by the former last year. In addition, Tribune Media is suing Sinclair for breach of contract. (The deal went stale when the Commission designated it for hearing—a sign that the deal is probably dead anyway.)
