Ed Stolz has been ordered by a US district judge to turn himself in for contempt of court after he failed to pay the $1 million-plus a jury awarded music-rights plaintiffs for playing music without paying royalties, and then refusing to turn over the radio stations in question – in San Francisco, Palm Springs, and Las Vegas – to receiver Larry Patrick. Stolz has until September 11 to either report for his jail sentence or comply with the jury decision.
