President Biden has named Ms. Rosenworcel to fill the post vacated by Republican Ajit Pai, for now with “acting” in her title, but with the appointment, she becomes the odds-on favorite to become the permanent chair of the Commission. For her part, Ms. Rosenworcel says she is “honored” to be so named.
