Tape It, a music software developer, has introduced an AI-powered Denoiser tool to combat background noise in audio recordings. This web-based application automatically removes environmental and electrical noises, ensuring studio-quality results. An accompanying academic study confirmed that the Denoiser’s performance matches or even surpasses leading noise-reducing solutions, which often involve complex adjustments and equipment. The tool will be presented at the Audio Engineering Convention in New York and is currently available for free on the Tape It website. It will later be integrated into Tape It’s flagship iOS app, designed to assist musicians in managing and recording their musical ideas.
