The Radio Advertising Bureau has elected Cox Media Group President of Radio Rob Babin as its 2027 board chair following its September 23-24 board meeting in Cleveland.
The RAB’s new officer slate also includes Bonneville International’s Scott Sutherland as vice chair, Lenawee Broadcasting Company’s Julie Koehn as treasurer, and Audacy’s Jenny Nelson as secretary. Townsquare Media COO Erik Hellum becomes immediate past chair.
Four executives have joined the RAB board: Kevin LeGrett of Beasley Media Group, Greg Davis Jr. of Davis Broadcasting, Trip Savery of Curtis Media Group, and Peter Tanz of Midwest Communications.
The changes put executives from a broad range of radio ownership groups into the organization’s leadership structure as the industry heads into 2027.
“RAB plays a vital role in bringing our industry together to address the opportunities and challenges ahead for radio,” Babin said. “I am honored to serve as Board Chair and look forward to working alongside our board members, RAB leadership and industry partners to champion radio’s unique value, strengthen our industry and drive continued growth.”
The RAB also has appointed Salem Media Group Chief Revenue Officer Linnae Young to its Executive Committee.
