Larry Patrick is set to become the sole owner of Legend Communications of Wyoming after his ex-wife Susan Patrick’s tax fraud conviction. Susan transferred her 50% stake to Larry for $1 due to legal restrictions preventing her from holding broadcast interests. Susan was sentenced to 15 months in prison, one year of supervised release, and ordered to pay $3.84 million in restitution for evading taxes by under-reporting over $19.5 million in income. Larry claims ignorance of her wrongdoing. Legend Communications, operating 22 radio stations and three FM translators in Wyoming, employs 25 staff. The ownership transfer, filed on June 11, awaits FCC approval.
