Ryan Seacrest has been announced as the successor to Pat Sajak as the host of the popular syndicated game show “Wheel of Fortune.” Sajak, who revealed his upcoming retirement two weeks ago, will step down next year. Seacrest recently departed from the talk show “Live with Kelly and Ryan,” but he will continue his hosting duties for iHeartMedia and Top 40 KIIS/Los Angeles, as well as ABC’s “American Idol.” Seacrest expressed his gratitude and excitement for the opportunity, acknowledging Sajak’s legendary status and his intention to carry on the show’s traditions alongside co-host Vanna White.
