NATE ♥ AMFEVA.

NATE, the Communications Infrastructure Contractors Association, has endorsed the AM Radio for Every Vehicle Act, urging the House of Representatives to pass it. NATE CEO Todd Schlekeway emphasized the safety risks of removing AM radio from vehicles, highlighting its crucial role in emergency communications, especially in remote areas. The Act mandates that automakers include AM radio in new vehicles at no extra cost. NATE joins numerous supporters, including the National Association of Broadcasters and AARP. Despite broad support, the Act has been stalled in Congress, prompting new PSAs to urge public support by contacting legislators.
