Back in October, SiriusXM CEO Mel Karmazin told his board that he wouldn’t be renewing his contract, which is up in February 2013. Now comes word that company President/Sales and Operations James E. Meyer will succeed Karmazin. Meyer was described by Board Chairman Eddy Hartenstein as “a highly qualified leader and operator.”
