Local Radio Networks is teaming up with Skyview Networks and ABC Radio for expanded distribution, increased network sales, and additional content. Skyview Networks becomes the exclusive network sales partner for LRN’s 24/7 music formats, and provides advanced satellite distribution platform or all LRN formats. ABC Radio will contribute “additional programming opportunities.” Arrangements become effective the first of next year.
LRN CEO Steve Swick calls it “a really exciting time for Local Radio Networks,” saying that the Skyview and ABC relationships “allow us to expand our 24/7 programming footprint and distribute our music formats with dual delivery platforms of cloud-based and now satellite delivery” for more reliability. Swick adds, “Steve Jones and ABC Radio bring some very special content opportunities to the table as well.”
