GMR patches things up.

Global Music Rights (GMR), the performing rights organization representing songwriters and composers, has settled its copyright infringement lawsuit with Southern Stone Communications and Black Crow Media Group. The lawsuit alleged that the broadcast companies had infringed on copyrighted songs in their repertoire. As part of the settlement, a long-term GMR license has been established between the parties, and all disputes have been resolved. This agreement ensures that the rights of GMR’s affiliated songwriters and composers are protected, while allowing Southern Stone Communications and Black Crow Media Group to continue using GMR’s repertoire in a licensed and authorized manner.
