WABC/NY owner Red Apple Media tacked one of those “The opinions expressed are not necessarily. . .” disclaimers onto Rudy Giuliani’s program on said radio station in the face of the $2.7 billion defamation suit filed by Smartmatic against the former New York mayor and three Fox TV hosts for their baseless allegations that the voting-machine company was complicit in a voter-fraud conspiracy. The disclaimer did not sit well with Giuliani, who took to the airwaves last week to call the disclaimer “rather insulting,” adding, “It gives you a sense of how far this free speech thing has gone.”
