Fix fixes MMM myth.

John Fix, a former P&G analytical expert, debunks the myth that Media Mix Modeling (MMM) undervalues radio. MMM, a statistical analysis tool for evaluating marketing effectiveness, actually supports AM/FM radio. Nielsen’s major analysis and a study by Gain Theory and Ebiquity, which reviewed $2.2 billion in media spending, confirm that audio platforms, including radio, deliver strong returns on investment. Radio generates $3.12 in profit per dollar spent within 13 weeks and $6.29 over two years. Fix highlights the need for accurate “as-run” GRP data and market-specific analysis to optimize the impact of radio ads in marketing campaigns. Read the full report in next week’s issue.
