The FCC has issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking for the proposed reimbursement to radio and TV stations for expenses they made in conjunction with the TV post-spectrum incentive auction repack. Full-power FM stations and translators licensed and transmitting by April 13 of last year are eligible. The proposal also directs the FCC Media Bureau to hire a contractor to manage the reimbursement process. Once the NPRM has been published in the Federal Register, comments will be due in 30 days, and replies in 60 days.
