Audacy’s 98.1 The Lake (WLND) in Chattanooga is temporarily rebranding as Olivia 98.1 to honor local Olympian Olivia Reeves, who won the first U.S. weightlifting gold medal in 24 years at the Paris Olympics. The station will keep its adult hits format while celebrating Reeves’ achievement with tributes from August 30 to September 3, coinciding with a city parade. Reeves, a Hixson, TN native, lifted a total of 262 kilograms, winning the women’s 71kg division. The rebrand includes her throwing the first pitch at a Chattanooga Lookouts game, and Audacy expressed pride in celebrating her victory.
