In last week’s issue, we published the story of Matt Jones stepping away from the microphone due to his bid for the U.S. Senate seat now held by Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. Contrary to what appeared in the article, the Federal Election Commission had not ruled on a complaint filed by the Kentucky Republican Party; instead, the decision to take Jones off the air was made by iHeartMedia, which syndicates his “Kentucky Sports Radio” program throughout the state.
