The national charity that provides aid to ailing broadcasters has established the Edward F. McLaughlin Memorial Fund in memory of the broadcasting legend who passed away Friday (1/19). BFOA Chairman Dan Mason remembered his predecessor, who was for many years Foundation chairman himself, and was chairman emeritus at the time of his passing: “The Board of Directors and I are saddened at this tremendous loss to our industry and are grateful for Ed’s years of service to the Broadcasters Foundation.”
