Audiohook opens Podscan podcast data to radio industry.

Audiohook Corporation has acquired Podscan Inc., an AI-powered podcast monitoring and data platform, and is making most of Podscan’s podcast intelligence available to the industry at no cost. The transaction closed August 24, 2026. Podscan processes more than 70,000 podcast episodes each day.

Creators, podcast networks and publishers can access transcripts, brand-suitability analysis and contextual segments for the shows they represent. Advertisers can also use Podscan for free to monitor when and where their brands are mentioned in podcast content, including the surrounding context and sentiment.

Podscan evaluates content across brand suitability, contextual categories, brand mentions and sentiment. Audiohook says the scale of the platform provides visibility across a medium where the volume of new episodes has made comprehensive analysis difficult.

“Audiohook has always been focused on pushing this industry forward by giving advertisers better data, greater transparency and the intelligence they need to make more informed decisions,” says Audiohook CEO Jordan Bentley.

Bentley says Audiohook recognized the quality of Podscan when the companies began working together. “Bringing Podscan into Audiohook allows us to combine our strengths and make this intelligence even more valuable,” he says. “But what excites me most is that we’re not keeping it to ourselves.”

Podscan founder Arvid Kahl has joined Audiohook and oversees the platform’s technical transition and future development.

“Joining Audiohook gives us the resources and expertise to accelerate the roadmap, expand the platform’s capabilities and build things that would have taken us much longer to accomplish independently,” Kahl says.

Podscan by Audiohook is available now, with free accounts available at Podscan.fm.
