The NAB Education Foundation has opened the window for applications for the Technology Apprentice Program (TAP) for 2019. The TAP is a six-month program for young people interested in the technical side of broadcasting, including admission to the NAB Show in Las Vegas, a paid apprenticeship at a broadcast station, and a certification from the Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE). Any senior of a college or technical school studying electrical engineering, information technology, telecommunications, or radio and television transmission engineering is eligible to apply between now and January 31.
