AIR holds record elections.

The Association of Independents in Radio (AIR) recently completed its largest Board elections with notable member engagement and voter turnout. The newly elected Board, commencing its three-year term in March, includes individual members Mia Lobel, former VP of Content and Production at Pushkin Industries, independent audio producer Will Coley, and Rob Byers, Vox Audio Director of Audio Engineering. Organizational members elected are Corey Gumbs, founder of Black Podcasters Association, and Elaine Appleton Grant, CEO of Podcast Allies. AIR Executive Director Keisha Salmon expressed pride in the diverse voices shaping the organization’s future, emphasizing the high level of participation. Board Co-President Emily Kwong highlighted the passion and importance of the candidates’ statements, underscoring the significance of AIR’s mission in promoting innovation and equity within the audio space.
